Secret book-keeping of Channel 5.
There is a popular opinion that our President is a rather successful personality with an amicable and talented staff. But these myths have nothing to do with reality.
Poroshenko is surrounded by as greedy skinflints as he actually is himself. And these very jerks applied to former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn with a request to assist them in the cancellation of debts Channel 5 went into. The amount of debt was 8.5k USD.
And the book-keeping staff is recruited on the basis of the drawings they make as if being tested regardless of their skills and experience. If the bookkeepers of Poroshenko like these drawings, applicants get the job.
It’s hard to believe it, isn’t it? In this case I offer you to get acquainted with several examples of Poroshenko’s greed and unprofessional team of his.
Example 1
On January 17, 2013 Iryna Chekolovets’, Head of LLC Ekran, wrote a letter to Nina Yuzhanina known as a personal bookkeeper of Poroshenko. That letter contained information about payables of LLC Ekran.
The controlling shares of LLC Ekran were obtained by Prime Assets Capital Investment Fund in December 2011 that was under control of Poroshenko. Ukrainian digital television network LLC Firma Ekran was working under the brand Maximum TV and was a national multichannel broadcasting TV company.
Chekolovets’ provided the table of payables pertaining to LLC Ekran in the letter. As it followed from the given information in the table, people of Poroshenko weren’t going to pay the debt in the amount of 48.3k USD as it concerned programs they hadn’t already broadcast by that time.
Example 2
When it comes to the state, people of Poroshenko prefer to screw it if a more lucrative alternative appears. It is vividly shown in the case pertaining to the rental of premises at the State Company Kyiv the main station of Channel 5 had to pay. The room rented by Poroshenko’s channel was a state property and there was a monthly fee in the amount of 29 500 UAH fixed for its rent.
As at September 1, 2012 the arrears for rent were accumulated by LLC Ekran and reached 70.5k UAH. And the people of Poroshenko didn’t want to pay the debt off.
Due to that situation they prepared a letter for Yuzhanina and the title of the letter was ‘The List of the most Critical Issues’. According to the message it was planned to involve Ivan Lytvyn, who was one of the founders of LLC Firma ‘Ekran’ and at the same time he was the son of Volodymyr Lytvyn, former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in the issue to be solved.
Chekolovets’ said that the elder of Lytvyns had influence on the State Company Kyiv. So it was planned to arrange a meeting with Ivan after which he had to ask his daddy to organize debt restructuring and reduce the rent payable in his turn.
Let me remind you that it 8.5k USD that mattered so much…
Example 3
On June 21, 2012 Nina Yuzhanina received a denunciation from some Dolyna Serhiy. He asked her get acquainted with the information on the actions the bookkeeping staff at Channel 5 used to do behind her back. It concerned activity of the accountants of the accounting department in50-60% of their working hours. And Olena Lyuta, Chief Accountant at the broadcasting company NBR that was in the structure of Channel 5, found herself in the spotlight as she used to leave her working place in order to do some kind of business with other firms and to solve personal issues of CFO Anna Novikova.
The funniest part of that denunciation was hidden in the principles according to which Channel 5 recruited accountants as they were hired regardless of their professional (accounting) skills and experience. The psychomatic drawings by CFO Anna Novikova were taken into consideration in the recruitment process. If the drawings were liked the person got the job even having no accounting experience at all.
And yes, Poroshenko didn’t hold the position of the President of Ukraine at the moment the correspondence was published. But what’s really stirring the interest is the character of his work, his attitude to money and the proficiency level of the team he created himself.
